Black Canyon Anglers will schedule viewing trips to: 1) Ross Reels; 2) Scott Rods and 3) Whiting Farms (as in fly tying feathers fame).

Fishing Day is Thursday July 16 at Sunshine Springs Angling Club- This unique location consists of 8 springs fed ponds with up to 14 pound fish. Many are around 5 pounds. You may catch fives trout species. Our TU discount results in a rod fee per day, per person of $55.00. Usual rod fee is $65.00 per day. Provide your own fishing gear. Sunshine Springs is private property we can reserve for our own use. Business does not have a website. Tell Bob Bernard of your plans on fishing here. That-can happen up to two days before July 14. You pay when you fish. Black Canyon will coordinate logistics with the property
Lodge and cabins
All trips begin and end from the BCA Lodge, which houses a fly shop, library, TV room, pool table and dining hall. Adjacent to the lodge, two and four person cabins are also available—each with a private shower and rest room. The meticulous landscaping creates a relaxing common gathering area. Three miles of The Lower Gunnison River wraps around the property providing private water fishing access; several stocked trout ponds offer casting practice and the chance to catch a really big fish

3-4 person cabins – queen bed, double bed, and 2 singles w/ mini fridge, shower, restroom, and screened in porch
- Will reserve the three cabins for us until 30 days before scheduled arrival

Cabins—Includes a continental breakfast and access to 4 miles of private river and stocked ponds discount rate for groups is $60 per person per night tax or $200 per upper cabin/$100 per lower cabin whichever is cheapest These rates are discounts from $85 pp/night
