TU North Bear held our 2nd annual fundraiser this past Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Jasper Winery in Des Moines. The theme of this year's event was Art and we were very fortunate to have some incredible art on site for purchase and auction. Additionally, there were numerous silent auction items that were highly sought after.
Even though attendance was lower than 2014 we were still very pleased with the enthusiasm and dontaions of those that did attend or purchased tickets. All told, TU North Bear was able to raise alomst $4000 to be used toward our mission of protecting and improving Iowa's cold water fisheries. Plans are underway for next year's event as well brainstorming for additional opportunities for TUNB to engage new audiences in Central Iowa.
